I was completely in awe of this painting. The vividness of color and detail is truly amazing. This amazing work of art was created by Benjamin West, an american painter in 1771.

I have to agree, this painting is fascinating, The colors are energetic. They blend well with the characters in the painting. I look forward to seeing this one in person , thanks for the preview.
Yes I do agree that the colors are vivid. How amazing does that Lion look, so tamed and quiet. Reminds me of story in the garden of eden, where all the animals were so freely, tamed, ate with Adam/Eve! I really want to see this picture in person as well.
